A Grades K-6 mountain bike development club

NEW RIDER MEETING: April 5th @5pm at the Hidden Hollow Trailhead parking lot - up the road from Hidden Hollow Elementary in Eagle Mountain
WHAT IS THIS TEAM?
This is k-6th grade program designed to provide a fun environment and experience for kids wanting to learn and develop mountain biking skills and abilities. We accept kids from any location, school, and gender.

COST: $35 (includes a t-shirt) and covers insurance, snacks, etc for the program

LOCATION: Practices and activities will largely going to be in Eagle Mountain and areas nearby there.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this youth mountain bike club is to GET YOUR KIDS OUTSIDE! We want to create a lifelong love of cycling and the outdoors while building teamwork, instilling a solid work ethic, and also creating positive social bonds.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • riders must be able to ride a pedal bike (no striders or other balance/coaster bikes)
  • Must have helmet
PROGRAM DETAILS
More details will come as we get closer to registration, but here are basic details:

Program Begins: April 5th
Program Ends: August 2nd
Practices: Once a week on a weeknight, 1 Saturday practice a month
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPONSORS!!

We are looking for sponsors for our 2025 team. Please let us know if you are interested in supporting this awesome, free program that will serve many kids in the area.

MORE INFORMATION
Although racing is not part of our program, there are optional races for riders as part of the Weekly Race Series and other locally based races.

  • July 8th: Speed #10 @ 6:30-8p
  • July 15th: Gearing & Cadence #12 @ 6:30-8p
  • July 22nd: Timing & Coordination #13 @ 6:30-8p -or- 6th grade Team Information Ride
  • July 26th: Adventure Practice #11 (3 of 4) ‘Scavenger Hunt!’
  • July 29th: Party Race/Awards #14 @ 6:30-8p
  • August 2nd: Adventure Practice (4 of 4) #15 @ ‘FireFly’
  • Pressure Control (Pump Track)

Oct 11th: Monsters on the Mountain (separate registration)
