WHAT IS THE ROUGHCUT SERIES?
The RoughCut series is a "pop-up" style race series. Basically, it's a non serious, non-series, race series. We race when and where we want and the whole idea is to have fun with people who love mountain biking and want to try some unique, different styles and locations for races. We accept and encourage costumes or at least relaxed outfits and attitudes. This is about trying the rougher, wilder side of mountain biking - less formal, more fun and back-to-roots racing. We aren't trail or style snobs and want to give people fun experiences. That's it. It's like a rough cut trail. Probably needs work, but man, it's still fun to ride.
